Privacy Policy Overview
MemoSift is provided by Xianzhi (Beijing) Technology Co., Ltd. We design the app around a local-first privacy boundary: photo organization is handled on your device whenever possible, and our servers only process account data, sync status, usage events, feedback, support-development records, and necessary diagnostics.
1. Data We Process
- Account information: sign-in identifiers returned by Apple or WeChat, nickname or display name, avatar, and email address when provided by the sign-in provider.
- Installation and device information: installation-level identifier, app version, build number, device model, and system version, used for sync status, device-level statistics, and diagnostics.
- Usage events: app launch, sign-in, photo permission status, scan success or failure, organization actions, and deletion confirmation results.
- Achievement statistics: aggregated counts such as reviewed items, deleted items, estimated released space, and active cleanup days.
- Feedback: feedback text, category, contact clues, follow-up messages, and attachments that you choose to upload.
- Support-development records: App Store in-app purchase transaction identifiers, product IDs, price snapshots, purchase or refund status, ownership clues, and necessary handling records.
- Technical information: request identifiers, API errors, basic performance, stability diagnostics, and security risk-control information.
2. Photo Content We Do Not Upload
Unless we clearly explain otherwise in the future and obtain your authorization, MemoSift does not upload the following photo content or information that can reconstruct photo content:
If you actively submit feedback attachments, only the attachments you choose are uploaded, stored, and deleted through the feedback workflow. This does not change the default local-processing boundary for photo organization.
- Original photos or video files.
- Photo thumbnails, previews, or screenshot content.
- File names, local photo identifiers, or complete album lists.
- Shooting information, location, or information that can reconstruct shooting locations.
- Recognized text, visual features, reversible hashes, or other stable content fingerprints.
3. Photo Permission
The app needs iOS photo permission to read your photo library and generate organization views on your device. When you confirm deletion, the app uses iOS system photo capabilities and requires your explicit confirmation. You can disable or adjust photo access at any time in iOS Settings.
4. WeChat Sign-In
When you actively tap WeChat sign-in, the app opens WeChat authorization. WeChat sign-in is provided by Tencent and is used for sign-in and account identification. The authorization result returned by WeChat is sent to our server so the server can complete account identification with WeChat.
5. App Store In-App Purchases
When you actively use Support Development, the purchase flow is completed through App Store system capabilities. We process the necessary transaction status, product information, price snapshot, refund status, and support record for purchase verification, record display, refund assistance, accounting reconciliation, and security risk control. Supporting development does not affect the current basic photo organization features.
6. How We Use Data
- Provide account sign-in, session maintenance, and account security.
- Sync organization achievements, feedback, and support records, including recovery after switching devices.
- Understand whether core flows such as sign-in, authorization, scanning, organization, and deletion confirmation are working.
- Diagnose crashes, API errors, purchase or refund status issues, and functional problems.
7. Sharing, Retention, and Deletion
We do not use your personal information for advertising tracking and do not sell your personal information. Data necessary for sign-in, purchases, refunds, feedback, and security diagnostics may be processed by Apple, WeChat, the App Store, or our service providers within their respective responsibilities. We require relevant processors to provide protections no lower than this Policy and applicable law.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the processing purposes. After account deletion, account profile data, sign-in identities, organization statistics, feedback, and support records will be deleted, anonymized, or disconnected from the account according to the account deletion process. Transaction, accounting, security, or audit records required by law will be retained only within the necessary scope.
8. Your Rights
You may contact us through the app settings or by emailing support@xenzify.com to request access, correction, deletion of account data, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion. Account deletion instructions are available on the account deletion page.
If there is a material change to the purpose, method, or categories of personal information processing, we will notify you through the app, website, or other reasonable methods, and obtain your consent again when required by law or when necessary.
